The Science of Receptor Synergy
In peptide research, 1 + 1 often equals 3. This is known as synergy. The most famous example is stacking a GHRH (Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone) like CJC-1295 with a GHRP (Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide) like Ipamorelin.
Because these two compounds target completely different pituitary receptors - one stimulates the release pulse, while the other inhibits the hormone that suppresses the pulse - the resulting growth hormone output is exponentially higher than taking a double dose of either compound alone.
Dangerous Contraindications
Conversely, stacking compounds that act on the same pathways can be extremely dangerous. Stacking two GLP-1 receptor agonists (e.g., Semaglutide and Tirzepatide) can cause severe hypoglycemia, gastroparesis (stomach paralysis), and acute pancreatitis. Always check interactions before beginning a multi-compound research protocol.
