GLP-1 Clinical Trial Weight Loss Projector
Wondering what to expect over the next 72 weeks? This tool takes the exact average percentage drops from Phase 3 clinical trials and maps them dynamically to your starting weight.
GLP-1 Weight Loss Projector
Map your personal starting weight against the exact data curves from the STEP (Semaglutide) and SURMOUNT (Tirzepatide) Phase 3 Clinical Trials.

Important Trial Context
These trajectories represent the mathematical average of thousands of participants in Phase 3 clinical trials, assuming the standard 4-week titration escalation schedule up to the maximum maintenance dose. Individual results vary based on diet, resistance training, and metabolic factors.
The Science Behind the Curve
Weight loss on GLP-1 and GIP agonists is not linear. As shown in the graph above, the most rapid weight loss typically occurs during the first 16 to 24 weeks while you are titrating up to a maintenance dose.
Around week 48, the curve begins to flatten (plateau). This is a normal physiological response as your body reaches a new metabolic set-point. According to the SURMOUNT-1 clinical trial, participants on Tirzepatide lost an average of 20.9% to 22.5% of their body weight over 72 weeks.
A Warning on Sarcopenia (Muscle Loss)
The numbers on the scale do not differentiate between fat mass and lean muscle mass. During rapid weight loss, up to 30% of the weight lost can be lean muscle if proper interventions are not taken. It is critical to pair these compounds with a high-protein diet (0.8g to 1g per lb of body weight) and heavy resistance training to preserve metabolic function and bone density.
